Developer Resources

Revenues

The million-dollar question - What percentage is shared?

Robot App Store shares 70 per cent of the revenues with the developers and keeps 30 per cent. Robot App Store uses the 30 per cent to maintain its servers, teams, marketing and advertising and generally ensuring your app will be available for sale, worldwide, 24/7.

How developers are getting their money?

During the enrolment process, Robot App Store will verify your beneficiary account. This account will be used for money transfers collected from users who purchased your app.

When the money will be transferred?

A monthly report will be emailed to your email address and will be available on your portal at the first day of every month, summarizing your apps purchases during the month before the previous month. You have two weeks to request clarifications for the report.

If no request arrives from you, the revenues will be sent to your beneficiary account within 30 days from the report date.

To better understand the timeline, please review the following example:

1. On July 1st, you receive an email summarizing purchases made between May 1st and May 31st.
2. If you have questions or clarifications requests, you have until July 14th to send it to Robot App Store.
Beyond this date, the report will be considered as approved, and money transfer process will be issued. You will be able to see the money in your beneficiary account by July 31st.

Can a user request a refund?

We grant users 14 days to request a refund of their purchase due to malfunction software or problems in the installation process. We believe that positive approach for refunds is a key to user satisfaction and will refund every user who complain. We know that some users might exploit this policy, this is why Robot App Store keep tracking of such users and might block them for future purchases.

However, in some cases (such as recurring complaints) Robot App Store might take the app offline and will contact you with a request to fix the problem. Users will have the choice to wait for upgraded version, or to get a refund.

Who pays my taxes?

All taxes and government fees are under the responsibility of the developer or his company. Robot App Store does not withhold any payment due to taxation. Please consult with your local accountant or CPA or CFO how this affects your business.
