Robot App Requirements

Software

A Windows-based machine for the NAO Server, with .Net 4.0 framework.
An Android device version 2.3.3 and up, WITH an accelerometer and magnetic field sensors.

Other requirements:

WiFi network that connects your computer (NAO Server) the robot and your Android device.

Usage Instructions

How to use it:
First – make sure NAO, the server software and the Android device are all connected to the same network. (you can have them connected to different networks if you have set a proper routing rules on your router)
Second – turn on NAO, and get his IP address. (Single press on the chest button)
Third – start the server project, and connect to your NAO.
Fourth – start the Android App and connect to the server’s IP and port as you see on the screen.

Now you can start controlling your NAO!
1. press on “stand up” – NAO will stand, and then a new button will appear.
2. To steer the robot, tilt the android right / left back/ forward, while the big button is pressed, and the robot will walk to the same direction.
3. To stop walking, simply stop pressing the big button.
4. To sit down – just press the “sit down” button.
